However, the possibility remains of a direct attack on a significant landmark such as the Houses of Parliament, Docklands, airports, bridges and tunnels, and also an attack on the infrastructure of the country such as the water and nuclear power supplies. • Problems with the railway network will continue. • Football: England have a very good chance of winning the 2002 World Cup held in Japan and South Korea this year. • The NHS will continue to get worse, with more scandals emerging. • Flooding will again be a problem this year. People living in low areas, particularly those who suffered in the floods of 2000, should start taking precautions now. |
