Flying Star
Feng Shui Analysis for 2004
From 4th February 2004 until 3rd February 2024 we will be in the 8th Fortune.
The element of the 8th Fortune is Earth, the direction is north east, the
trigram is Ken, which represents a graveyard or small hill. In human terms
the 8th Fortune represents the Youngest Boy. It also means that mature
people are more active. So in general older things will be more popular
and successful. Older fashions will become popular again. A lot of old
films will be remade. Musically former stars will enjoy new success, while
the popularity of boy bands and girl bands will wane.
Accidents
The no 5 star in the centre will cause a lot of major accidents this
year, for example train, plane and ship disasters, and explosions. There
is a high chance that this may affect government buildings. Another issue
is the safety of leaders such as George Bush, Tony Blair and those in
charge of allied countries, especially between 4th February - 4th March & 7th
November - 6th December when flying star number 2 is in the centre. Queen
Elizabeth of England will have a hard time this year, as she is against
the Year God (being Year of the Tiger), and this will be made worse by
the fact that the energy is changing as we move into the 8th Fortune.
During the 8th fortune the energy will be better for middle aged people.
Unless she pays more attention to her safety and health, this year could
be a disaster for her.
War and Terrorism
The no 5 star this year unfortunately brings only disaster. According
to Flying Star Feng Shui, the main problem globally will continue to be
middle east area. This year many of the problems in that area will get
out of control. It will be difficult to make progress in peace talks between
Israel and the Palestinians. In Iraq the situation will worsen. Even the
capture of Saddam Hussein will not help too much, with many in Iraq resenting
the continued American occupation of their country. Pakistan is another
potential flashpoint with tensions increasing in 2004.
Terrorists will attempt more attacks on America, the UK and their allies,
whether within the countries themselves or on their interests abroad. According
to Flying Star Feng Shui and Chinese astrology, the areas particularly
at risk are the south (3 sha), the west (no. 7 star) the east (no. 3 star)
and the south west (no 2 star). Luckily the east and the west have some
good stars, so although there are dangers, it is likely many of them will
be exposed before they can cause too much damage.
Economy
Globally, it will be a good year economically. Rapid growth will be seen
in some countries, particularly China and India. It looks like it will
also be a good year for the UK and US - unemployment will go down slightly,
and companies will improve productivity. The boom in property prices in
the UK will slow, but 2004 will not be the year the bubble bursts. Prices
will still increase as demand continues to be high, though it is likely
that mortgage rates will increase.
Politics
In feng shui terms, over the next 20 years Western countries will need
to have good feng shui if they are to sustain their level of global influence.
Politically the issue of terrorism will continue to divide opinion nationally
and internationally, and there are likely to be more anti government
demonstrations.
The face of global politics will continue to change rapidly, with power
divided between the USA, EU, Russia, China and the muslim countries.
These 5 powers will continue to compete for influence.
US President George Bush will try to exert more influence on European
affairs, using close ally Tony Blair, as he steps up his campaign for
re-election. The political manoevering has already begun, with the President’s
official visit to Britain to see the Queen in November 2003, and the
space exploration programme announced at the start of 2004.
The President’s proposal to grant work permits to illegal immigrants
should also help him in his election campaign, boosting the US economy
and gaining support from the naturalised immigrant community. According
to his personal astrology this year, we can see that he has a good chance
of a second term in office, particularly as there appears to be no credible
challenge to him at present. From his Chinese astrology, it seems that
someone in his family may pass away this year, as Dog people have the ‘hanging’ bad
star.
2004 will be a better year for British PM Tony Blair, because in 2004 the Year
God is helping him. He will be able to overcome most problems and see off any
challengers as he builds up towards the election in 2005.
Natural Disasters
Number 5 in the centre this year means that all around the world there
will be a higher risk than usual of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and
landslides, flooding, rain, storms, hurricanes and forest fires, particularly
in august (chinese calendar) when the monthly no. 5 star comes into the
centre. Some of these disasters are likely to caused by the effects of
increasing global warming. Countries on the major earthquake fault lines
will have to be prepared.
We have already seen one disaster in 2004, with January’s catastrophic
earthquake in Iran causing in the region of 50,000 deaths. Hopefully
this will prove to be the peak of the energy and we won’t see anything
on the same scale during the rest of this year. |
