In 2005, the number 4 star is in the centre. This star represents studying. Its element is wood, and colour is green. When it is not active it has the effects of lust, disease, and suicide.
Throughout the 8th fortune, the no 8 star will be in the centre. As this star has the most influence during this time we call it the active star. This year with no. 4 moving into the centre we have 8 and 4 coming together. This will affect the youngest children, who will be at greater risk of accidents, illness or even death. Number 4 has the element wood and represents the eldest daughter, and the number 8 star belongs to earth and represents the youngest son. As wood destroys earth, this means that females will destroy males, therefore there will be more divorce, and women will be in charge.

2004 Predictions

In 2004, by using feng shui and astrology we predicted that 5 & 8 in the centre would lead to many leaders facing problems or even dying. Of course, it is true that leaders will die every year. Feng Shui simply shows that there will be more in particular years.

There were many reports of deaths, murders, attempted assassinations and other problems for heads of state during 2004. To give some examples, Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski was killed in plane crash. Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide was forced into exile. Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, founder and spiritual leader of Hamas, was assassinated by Israel. President Chen Shui-bian of Taiwan survived being shot in the stomach. German President Johannes Rau cut short a trip to Africa after warnings of an assassination attempt by Islamic extremists. President Ahmad Kadyrov of Chechnya was assassinated, as was the leader of the Iraqi Governing Council, Ezzedine Salim. Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died in hospital. Ukranian opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko survived being poisoned, whilst as the energy was changing at the start of the year, the Queen was in hospital for surgery to remove facial lesions at the end of 2003.

With the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and Hurricane Rita set to hit the Gulf Coast again, Master Simon Wong has again showed how Feng Shui can be used to predict such events.

In his book "Success For 2005: Flying Star Feng Shui", Master Wong wrote:

"With the number 5 star moving into the northwest this year, America and Canada can expect a tough year, with more disasters and accidents than usual. The number 5 star has negative energy and causes a lot of trouble. The effect will be made worse this year by the bad Chinese Astrology stars also affecting the northwest.

Therefore there is more chance of accidents, plane and train crashes, as well as natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, flooding, rain, storms, hurricanes and forest fires.

The number 3 star, which represents conflict, is in the southeast this year, and is likely to affect states such as Florida, Georgia, Carolina, Missisippi and Alabama."

Tsunami disaster

There are many contributing factors to such a disaster. Events in the area over preceding years - earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, undersea nuclear tests - are all factors. The effects will not be seen immediately but when the feng shui for the area is bad the disaster will happen.

By examning the feng shui and chinese astrology for 2005, we can see that a disaster in this area was very likely. Even though the yearly cycle does not change until the 4th February 2005, the energy had already begun to change at the start of december.

According to the 3 Round 9 Fortune (the 180 year cycle of energy) in 2004 we moved into the 8th fortune. One Fortune is equal to 20 years, and three fortunes make up one Round of 60 years. After 3 Rounds (180 years in total) we return to the first Round & first Fortune.
In feng shui terms, we are in the 8th fortune, and the no. 8 star will be the active star during this period (until 2024). In 2005, with the no. 4 yearly star moving into the centre we have 8 and 4 coming together. When the wood element (no. 4 star) destroys earth (no. 8 star), this causes diasasters such as earthquakes, landslides and disease.
Anyone who studies flying star feng shui will know that 8 and 4 together will affect the youngest children. It has been suggested that as many of half of the victims were children, and in the aftermath of the disaster there have been reports of thousands of children being trafficked abroad by criminal gangs. The feng shui for 2004, with 8 and 5 together in the centre, was also bad for young children.

As we approach the end of the 3 Round 9 Fortune cycle the energy is building up and becoming more unstable, so we are likely to see more wars and disasters during this period.

If we look at the grid for 2005, we can see that during this year the east, northwest, west, east and southeast areas are particularly at risk, due to the bad stars in those areas.

Global Outlook for 2005

USA/Canada:

With the number 5 star moving into the northwest this year, America and Canada can expect a tough year, with more disasters and accidents than usual. The number 5 star has negative energy and causes a lot of trouble. The effect will be made worse this year by the bad Chinese Astrology stars also affecting the northwest.
In addition, northwestern areas of the country, particularly Seattle (Washington), Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming will be at even greater risk of disasters.

Therefore there is more chance of accidents, plane and train crashes, as well as natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, flooding, rain, storms, hurricanes and forest fires.
The number 3 star, which represents conflict, is in the southeast this year, and is likely to affect states such as Florida, Georgia, Carolina, Missisippi and Alabama.

In the east, the danger will come from the continued threat of terrorist attacks. And in California, with the year god and 2 facing sha stars in this area, the west coast of the USA which is on an earthquake fault line should be prepared for problems.


UK:

We can apply the analysis to the UK in the same way. Starting with the number 5 star in the northwest of the country, there could be particularly severe weather in northwestern areas such as the Scottish coast. In the southeast, London could face terrorist threats and accidents. East Anglia and northwestern England could be at risk from flooding.

Europe:

Italy, Spain, Portugal and France may face problems from natural disasters.

South America:

Countries on the western side of South America such as Chile, Peru and Ecuador may be affected by earthquakes.

Other parts of the world:

There may well be more disasters and problems to come in these parts of the world during 2005, in countries such as China, Japan, Russia, India

We are merely trying to demonstrate to people that they can use feng shui to anticipate events and avoid places where there are likely to be problems. Simply put, bad feng shui is being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
